“John has loved coming into class and playing w/ the parachute, sticks and bells. He goes to get 2 for himself and 2 for me(he didn't really understand "2" when we started) and then shakes, rattles, walks and hides the both of them. We can now sing in the car and I can watch him in the rearview mirror doing the hand motions to 'itsy-bitsy spider' or 'Johnny,Johnny,Johnny, Johnny-WHOOPS-Johnny'(he especially likes this one-for obvious reasons!). His concentration in the class(and now at home when we do stuff together) has improved immensely. He doesn't have good concentration all the time, but if we try to sing 'itsy-bitsy spider' he will actually sit down and try it w/ me..and usually ask me to "do it again, mama" at least 5-6 times in a row. Happy mama!!:) So, in my opinion, this class has helped John bring everything together instead of just thinking about different things all at the same time. He is definately more focused! We are both very glad to be a part of the class.”

“We began attending SongCatchers when my son was 2 years old. He immediately felt at home and bonded with the instructor, Mrs. Knudsen, right away. Her cheerful disposition, beautiful singing voice and variety of mediums (guitar, rhythm sticks, bells, etc.) made him feel right at home. He particularly likes "Criss Cross Applesauce" and requests it quite often at home. He also enjoys the robin puppet and singing in response to her verse. Songcatchers has been a great benefit not only for my 10 month old son but also for me as a new mom. I have attended music class at Songcatchers with Jack since he was 6 weeks old and have been a true believer. The class provides a great stimulating environment for young children as well as providing a great place to interact with other moms. Jack is very attentive in the class and tremendously enjoys the different type of activities offered. I have researched other activities and found this to be the best place for Jack and for myself.
