First Musical experience between parent and child through movement and singing, bouncing and rocking, instruments and literature. Purposeful musical activities that stimulate the cognitive and language, social and emotional, and physical developments, that all begin in the very first days of a child's life. $195/session (classes meet weekly for 30 minutes)

Music for Toddlers
(18 months - 3 years)
I have 2 small children, 3 and 1, and both attend Songcatchers. There are many things that I love about the program, but I am especially thankful for a skilled and compassionate teacher, the ability to have both in class and not have to find a sitter, the opportunity to see my youngest, Alexander, learn how to keep time to music (and love it!) and the opportunity to see my daughter Emma really bloom into a music-loving child.

"Look at me, I'm discovering the world!" Through activities shared together, your child's musical attitude and listening abilities are enhanced and further developed. This stimulating curriculum focuses on four main areas of musical development: focused listening, movement, instrument playing and singing. 30 minute class with parent or caregiver. $195/session (classes meet weekly for 30 minutes)

Music For Young Children

"Let's pretend!" Class activities build on the child's growing independence and developing competencies. Imaginary play and creative dance, as well as continued instrument discovery and singing, are explored in a nurturing environment. $210/session (classes meet weekly for 40 minutes)

Music for Siblings
(0-7 years)
Both of my children, ages 4 and 2, have become much less timid since starting in Louise’s class. They have found a place where they feel comfortable enough to be active participants in the group. They both really look forward to music every week and I often find them singing the songs they learn at Songcatchers.

A multi-age class designed especially for siblings. Children attend class at the same time and experience music together. Attention will be given to the different ages and needs of the children. Sisters and brothers share the joy of music through songs, instruments and creative movement. $295/session for 2 children. (classes meet weekly for 30 minutes, discounts for additional siblings)
